STATIONARY STAY IN THE HOSPITAL DEPARTMENT

Departments:

The patient stays in the Hospital department for 24 hours, where he/she undergoes the diagnostic and therapeutic process.


Hospitalisation includes:

  • qualification for the hospital treatment,
  • diagnostic tests,
  • therapies prescribed by the healthcare provider,
  • prophylaxis
  • nursing and rehabilitation
  • any benefits related to the hospital stay, necessary during the treatment.

During the hospital stay in the department, the child remains under the care of medical personnel, nursery practitioners and tutors. The children of the school age and the upper secondary age participate in the classes in the hospital school during the week.
In the afternoon or during the weekends, the children have the educational and therapeutic classes organised in groups. The length of the hospital stay in the department depends on the diagnosed disorder. Hospitalisation of patients with allergological disorders is approximately from 8 to 30 days, whereas with rehabilitation disorders from 21 to 42 days.

 

DAYTIME STAY

Departments:

The patients who require complex rehabilitation services, but whose health condition does not require 24-hour specialist supervision, may be treated in the form of daytime stay. The patients’ status are being improved in the department for 5 days a week in two cycles, before and after the noon, between 7.00-19.00, during that time they are provided with the specialist healthcare and educational care. Just as in the case of 24-hour hospitalised patients, the patients of daytime stay are provided with all physiotherapeutic treatments and full board.

  • any benefits related to the hospital stay, necessary during the treatment.

The scope of rehabilitation involves the widely understood rehabilitation of the locomotor system, including the rehabilitation of orthopaedic, surgical, neurological, rheumatologic indications, and also the treatment of allergic diseases, respiratory disorders. The length of rehabilitation is approximately from 21 to 42 days.

 

PATIENT STAY WITH CARER

Departments:

A lot of our patients, especially the youngest ones, need the permanent presence of their parents. We prepare, for them, 23 rooms for children with carers. 3 of them are located in the main building, and the remaining 20 in the newly renovated pavilion, in which there is a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils and shared bathrooms with washing machines. In each room there are beds (with bedclothes), a table, chairs, a wardrobe for personal belongings, a wash basin, a telephone and a radio. The carer’s staying in the guest room is chargeable.

The scope of treatment involves the widely understood medical rehabilitation (systemic, neurological, pulmonary) and allergological hospitalisation.
